Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CSDS — the Crypto Scam Detection System — together with its website, API, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Blockchain Rangers ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

CSDS provides automated, heuristic risk analysis of blockchain tokens across supported EVM chains and Solana. The Service produces informational risk scores and signals to help you research tokens. It is a research tool only and does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. See our Disclaimer.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to you, including any restrictions in your country on the use of crypto-related services.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account, which you may create by email code, Google sign-in, or wallet signature. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, your login credentials, and any API keys you generate. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account or keys.

4. Billing and payments

Certain checks and features are paid. Pricing is shown in the app and may change. When billing is enabled:

• You fund a prepaid USD balance via crypto (through our payment processor) or card (through Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
• Each paid check, monitoring subscription, or other paid action is charged against your balance at the price shown at the time of the action.
• Monitoring is a per-token subscription billed for a fixed period and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the current period ends.
• Charges are generally final. Refunds, where available, are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to break the law or to facilitate fraud, laundering, or other illicit activity;
• Scrape, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute data or results except as expressly permitted;
• Circumvent rate limits, billing, authentication, or access controls, or share API keys with unauthorized parties;
• Interfere with, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
• Reverse-engineer the Service except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law.

6. API keys

API keys authenticate requests and are billed to your account balance. Keep them secret — anyone with your key can spend your balance. You are responsible for all usage and charges associated with your keys. We may revoke keys or suspend access for abuse.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding third-party and on-chain data), is owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You retain any rights you have in inputs you submit.

8. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Risk scores are automated estimates and may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. We do not warrant that any token is safe or unsafe.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, funds, tokens, or data, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including any decision you make based on a risk score. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or abuse the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including billing, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification) will survive.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
