Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Blockchain Rangers ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use CSDS — the Crypto Scam Detection System (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: your email address, display name, and — depending on how you sign in — your Google account identifier or the public wallet address you use to authenticate. We never receive your private keys or seed phrase.
- Usage data: the tokens and contract addresses you check, your check history, and the tokens you choose to monitor.
- Billing data: your prepaid balance and a record of top-ups and charges. Payments are processed by third parties (a crypto payment processor and Stripe for cards); we receive transaction metadata but do not store full card numbers.
- Technical data: IP address, browser/device information, and a session cookie used to keep you signed in. We may keep basic logs for security and reliability.
The token and blockchain data we analyze is public on-chain information and is not personal to you.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and secure the Service and your account;
- To run token checks and monitoring and to deliver alerts you request;
- To process payments, maintain your balance, and prevent fraud and abuse;
- To send transactional messages (for example, login codes and monitoring alerts);
- To improve the Service and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Cookies
We use a strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you authenticated. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your theme preference is stored locally in your browser, not on our servers.
4. Service providers we share with
We share the minimum data needed with providers that help us run the Service, including:
- Payments: our crypto payment processor and Stripe (card payments);
- Email delivery: our email provider(s) for login codes and alerts;
- Blockchain & risk data: on-chain data and security providers used to analyze tokens (these receive the token/contract being analyzed, not your identity);
- Authentication: Google, if you choose Google sign-in;
- Hosting & infrastructure: our cloud hosting and database provider.
These providers are bound to use your data only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
5. Data retention
We keep your account and related records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data, except where retention is legally required.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account from the dashboard or by contacting us. To exercise other rights, email us at support@blockchainrangers.com.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including hashing of API keys and session tokens and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International transfers
We and our providers may process your data in countries other than yours. Where required, we take steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
